CATL Signed Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with East China’s Shandong Province
On July 21, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Shandong Provincial Government, and signed an investment agreement and a battery swap network investment agreement with Jining Municipal Government. The parties will jointly build a low-carbon economy and develop a globally competitive new energy industry.
According to the agreement, the two parties will focus on the coordinated development of green energy and green manufacturing, actively cultivate new energy industries such as EV batteries and related materials, battery swapping and energy storage, promote the application of new energy vehicles and marine electrification by attracting and cultivating upstream and downstream enterprise, so as to boost the new business form of the industry and create new drives for the high-quality development.
