CATL Signs Four-party Agreement in Sichuan
Sichuan Contemporary Amperex Resources Limited, a subsidiary of CATL, signed a joint venture agreement with Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Investment and Development Group Co., Ltd., Yibin Sanjiang Huida New Energy Resources Ltd. and Sichuan Tianfu Mining Investment Co., Ltd. in the city of Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
According to the agreement, all parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation to accelerate the exploration and development of lithium ore resources in Sichuan, increase the supply of lithium resources, promote resource utilization in a scientific and orderly manner, thus facilitating the development of the new energy industry chain and providing crucial support to the development of the trillion-level EV battery industry in Sichuan.
