CATL establishes subsidiaries in Xiamen
On September 8, Long Zhao, member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian provincial party committee and secretary of the Xiamen municipal party committee, and Wenhui Huang, mayor of Xiamen, met with Robin Zeng, chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), and other representatives. The two sides exchanged views on advancing cooperation in the new energy industry.
In July and August 2021, CATL established Xiamen Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL-XM) and Contemporary Amperex Energy Service Technology Ltd. (CAES) in Xiamen. In the future, CATL will continue to facilitate Xiamen’s new energy industrial clusters' development, thus enabling the high quality development of Xiamen and promoting the goal of a Xiamen with zero emissions.
