MHERO and CATL signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian Province
On January 3, MHERO, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and CATL signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian.
According to the agreement, CATL will serve as the primary EV battery partner for MHERO, providing full support for the development and production of MHERO vehicles with its competitive EV battery products and services.
Additionally, both parties will collaborate closely on the development of new battery products, applications of Shenxing superfast charging battery, technological innovation projects, and market promotion. Together, they aim to create a new model for cooperation in the new energy vehicle industry. The upcoming MHERO 917 will be labeled with "CATL Inside" logo on the vehicle body, making it the first million-yuan luxury electric vehicle with this label.
MHERO is a luxury electric off-road brand under Dongfeng Motor, committed to championing luxury electric off-road culture by adhering to the standards of "Super Platform, Super Power, and Super Off-Roader." Its first model, MHERO 917, is hailed as the "first luxury electric off-road vehicle in China" and boasts industry-leading advantages in technological breakthroughs, vehicle testing, and range experience.
