CATL Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Sungrow
On September 5, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sungrow Power Supply (Sungrow), the leading solar photovoltaic (PV) inverter provider. The agreement was inked following a team visit led by Robin Zeng, chairman of CATL, to Sungrow's headquarters in Hefei. The two parties discussed how to deepen collaboration on energy storage systems worldwide.
According to the agreement, CATL and Sungrow will give full play to their respective advantages and jointly explore the global integrated PV and energy storage market. The two parties will strengthen cooperation in product innovation and global application of energy storage systems, in an effort to promote synergy and sustainable development of the new energy industry.
