CATL is actively involved in national targeted poverty alleviation by providing subsidies for poverty-stricken students and welfare activities for the old, weak, sick and disabled. CATL makes new contributions to targeted poverty alleviation as much as humanly possible. In 2019, CATL funded 56 poverty-stricken primary and secondary school students.
